How to interpret your dreams…

An excellent way to start with dream interpretation is to get a blank notebook for recording your dreams. This will assist you to sort out your dream interpretations. Keep your dream diary and a pencil close to your bed. When you wake up in the sunrise, write down your dream. Further, give a name to your dream, and choose what class this dream falls into: nightmares, precognitive dreams or some other dreams.

Step 1:

The initial understanding of your dream is to interpret what you wrote and decide if there is a literal translation. For instance, a pregnant woman dreaming of eating meat may plainly needs more protein. But if you watch a giant shark, it maybe a symbolic dream. The mainstream of dreams are symbolic, but it is essential in the beginning to work out a simple literal meaning.

Step 2:

Put in writing your thoughts about the dream. Did the dream leave you feeling uneasy, pleasant, concerned, irritated, confused or something else? To understand this step, reflect of watching a movie: someone always walks out of the cinema with some mood of inspiration, disappointment etc. From these sentiments starts your dream interpretation. Anyone who dreams of being naked in public might wake up feeling awkward about other people seeing his nakedness, it may be interpreted as being unconfident about yourself.

Step 3:

Underline the words you suppose to be symbolic. Remember that the actions or verbs can also be allegorical. For each highlighted remark ask yourself "What does this represent to me?". Identification a personal connection with the symbol will give you a feeling of acknowledgment, and the meaning of the dream will become clear.

Step 4:
